Security Engineer / Network Engineer (AWS)

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, implement, maintain, and enhance security controls across AWS GovCloud and hybrid infrastructure.
• Monitor systems and support detection, response, incident triage, and containment activities.
• Configure and manage network security solutions, including firewalls and WAFs.
• Integrate SIEM solutions for centralized logging and threat detection.
• Perform vulnerability scanning, remediation tracking, continuous monitoring, and audit-readiness activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the overall security posture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance required.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, network engineering, or cloud security.
• Experience with AWS; AWS GovCloud experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of network security, including firewalls and WAFs, plus experience with SIEM tools.
• Working knowledge of NIST 800-53, RMF, and STIGs.
