Senior Home Networking Test Engineer (Wi-Fi)

What you will do

• Lead quality assurance efforts for Wi-Fi routers, Mesh Wi-Fi systems, network adapters, and USB accessories.
• Execute system-level test cases and simulate real-world media and user scenarios.
• Design and implement test plans and test cases based on product specifications and industry standards.
• Define test strategies, establish local testing standards, and identify product risks.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive testing process improvements.
• Collaborate with R&D, product management, hardware teams, chipset vendors, and other cross-functional partners to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of QA or testing experience with networking products, including independent leadership of NPI testing activities.
• Hands-on experience testing Wi-Fi products and strong knowledge of IEEE 802.11, Wi-Fi 5/6/6E/7, and end-to-end Wi-Fi test coverage.
• Understanding of TCP/UDP, IPv4/IPv6, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, and IPTV.
• Ability to troubleshoot wireless and wired networking issues using packet captures, logs, and test data.
• Proficiency with iPerf/iPerf3, Wireshark, and IxChariot, plus strong test analysis, design, and problem-solving skills.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with consumer networking products such as routers, Mesh Wi-Fi systems, and gateways.
• Wi-Fi Alliance certification or wireless regulatory and compliance testing experience.
• Experience building automated test frameworks and systems.
• Python-based test automation experience for devices, networking products, or system-level testing.
