Production Technician (Drones)

Location: Seattle, WA; on-site

Salary: $28–$43 per hour

What you will do

• Fabricate and assemble electronic and mechanical components using schematics, diagrams, and technical instructions.
• Perform micro-soldering, rework, reflow, cable installation, wiring, and prototype assembly.
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electronic and mechanical systems in prototypes and production models.
• Adapt or create parts to complete repairs and improve electronic system performance.
• Maintain assembly, testing, repair, and modification records and prepare technical reports.
• Collaborate with engineers and other teams on production goals, process improvements, quality standards, and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Associate degree in avionics, electronics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, diagnostic tools, work instructions, technical manuals, and electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Experience fixing and maintaining drones, with basic knowledge of drone operation and different drone systems.
• Understanding of quality control processes, documentation, safety regulations, and preventative maintenance plans.
• Ability to work independently, analyze problems, lift up to 49 lbs, and remain seated, standing, or on your feet for extended periods.
