Senior Revenue Accountant (SaaS)

What you will do

• Oversee ASC 606 revenue recognition for SaaS contracts, including contract review, allocation, and revenue schedule preparation.
• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, consolidation, and financial reporting.
• Improve, automate, and document accounting policies, procedures, controls, and data-quality practices.
• Coordinate the year-end external audit, respond to audit requests, and assist with financial statement preparation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5–10 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606, SaaS revenue recognition, GAAP accounting, and financial reporting.
• Experience reviewing sales arrangements and preparing revenue recognition analyses.
• Excellent Excel skills and the ability to learn new financial systems quickly.
• Strong organization, communication, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Big Four or public accounting experience.
