Manager, Revenue Accounting (SaaS)

Location: United States remote; open to candidates anywhere in the United States for 100% remote work, with a hybrid option for those local to Minneapolis

Salary: $100,000–$151,700 annual base salary plus bonus and equity

Cloud-based supply chain management solutions provider serving a global network of retail trading partners.

What you will do

• Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition across global legal entities in compliance with ASC 606 and company policy.
• Own the global month-end and quarter-end close for revenue accounts, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.
• Drive revenue accounting treatments across ERP and sub-ledger systems and support ERP implementation.
• Develop revenue analytics with FP&A and maintain processes with minimal manual intervention.
• Maintain internal controls, SOX compliance, disclosures, and audit documentation.
• Support mergers and acquisitions, strategic finance projects, process improvements, and a small team through mentoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in SaaS companies.
• Strong revenue accounting experience involving ASC 606.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP, financial controls, and authoritative accounting guidance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
