Senior Integration Engineer (Kick-Stage) (Aerospace)

Salary: $140,000–$175,000 per year

What you will do

• Own the Helios vehicle build from assembly start through integration onto the launch vehicle.
• Integrate propulsion components, tubing, avionics, payloads, sensors, cables, and harnesses.
• Develop, execute, and document critical system-level tests with subsystem owners.
• Support test readiness reviews, anomaly resolution, configuration control, and vehicle activation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary schedules and drive on-time spacecraft delivery.
• Identify build issues, lead technical resolution across teams, and provide feedback to improve spacecraft processing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, materials, or another engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience integrating, designing, or building aerospace, industrial, chemical, or materials manufacturing processes.
• At least 2 years of experience with pneumatic, electrical, or hydraulic functional test stands and testing.
• Ability to work autonomously, troubleshoot complex problems, and communicate technical concepts across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, piping and instrumentation schematics, and interface control documents.
• Applicants must be U.S. Persons or eligible to obtain an export license under applicable U.S. export regulations, including ITAR and EAR.

Nice to have

• 7+ years of relevant integration, design, or manufacturing-process experience.
• Spacecraft mechanical and propulsion integration experience, including assembly, torquing, bonding, pressure testing, and hazardous-operations testing.
• Experience with Siemens NX, SOLIDWORKS, or similar CAD software.
• Hands-on experience with welding, automotive systems, pumps, valves, or rocketry.
