Associate, Marketplace - Strategy & Operations (Ecommerce)

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $74,800–$110,000 USD per year, plus potential equity grants.

What you will do

• Analyze marketplace performance and identify hyperlocal growth opportunities across the New York region.
• Translate data-driven insights into actionable experiments and business initiatives.
• Launch high-impact experiments and develop long-term operational playbooks.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, Analytics, and other cross-functional teams to implement initiatives.
• Set business goals and milestones while driving execution in an ambiguous, fast-changing environment.

Requirements

• 1–3+ years of experience managing initiatives and driving results in technology, strategy, operations, consulting, banking, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills, including independently pulling data and modeling in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Ability to solve problems from first principles and operate at both strategic and detailed levels.
• Action-oriented approach with strong judgment in ambiguous environments.
• Ability to influence and build relationships across functions and organizational levels.
• Completed Bachelor’s Degree.
