Senior Product Manager (Genetic Genealogy)

Location: Remote or hybrid/onsite through hirify.global's location-flexible work approach, subject to location restrictions and eligible US locations.

Base salary: $110,000–$123,000 per year, with eligibility for bonus, equity, and comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits.

What you will do

• Lead product discovery through rapid prototyping, customer interviews, experimentation, and qualitative and quantitative analysis.
• Partner with engineering and architecture to build the genetic genealogy platform, including APIs, matching logic, and reusable front-end components.
• Develop product strategy and roadmap for experiences combining DNA insights with historical records and user-created family trees.
• Write agents and build agentic workflows that combine genetic and historical data to surface meaningful family connections.
• Lead UI/UX initiatives with product design and UX research to simplify complex genealogical research workflows.
• Collaborate with data science, engineering, marketing, customer support, legal, content professionals, and in-house genealogists to deliver scalable products.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience delivering successful consumer products.
• Proven experience developing recommendation systems at scale and evaluating algorithmic or feature updates through experimentation.
• Strong product discovery, systems-thinking, written communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Experience building and using agentic workflows, understanding agentic frameworks, and writing agents.
• Experience partnering with data science, backend engineering, UX design, and senior engineers to build data-driven products for millions of users.
• Bachelor's degree required; experience or education in STEM and genomics is advantageous.
