Finance Manager (Healthcare)

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Boston or San Francisco (Hybrid)

What you will do

• Build and own financial models to drive planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
• Analyze unit economics, including LTV/CAC and contribution margins, to improve profitability.
• Evaluate new business lines, pricing strategies, and growth initiatives through rigorous analysis.
• Partner with operations, growth, and product teams to translate data into actionable insights.
• Support company-wide financial planning, budgeting, and investor reporting.
• Establish core financial reporting, KPIs, and dashboards to support company scaling.

Requirements

• 2–6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, management consulting, or strategic finance.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with high proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Ability to work with ambiguous, messy datasets and distill them into clear insights.
• Self-directed mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.
• Clear communication skills for presenting complex analyses to leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, marketplaces, or high-growth startups.
• Familiarity with SQL or working with large datasets.
• Experience supporting fundraising, investor reporting, or M&A.
