Solutions Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Define technical solutions with customers and internal stakeholders using Xage and relevant third-party software, hardware, and tools.
• Create and present technical and business proposals covering solution architecture, use cases, and deployment schedules.
• Lead technical pre-sales activities, customer proof-of-concepts, product demonstrations, and responses to RFIs and RFPs.
• Represent Xage at industry events and conferences, including occasional speaking engagements.
• Identify product gaps and collaborate with product management, engineering, and technology partners to address them.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with networking, industrial automation, or security solutions, including at least 5 years working in or with field sales organizations.
• 3+ years of experience in operational technology security and technical pre-sales for cybersecurity solutions in industrial or critical-infrastructure environments.
• Hands-on knowledge of industrial networking, industrial control systems, cybersecurity, IT/OT communication protocols, and security assessments.
• Experience with IAM, remote access, network segmentation, secure network architecture, security frameworks, threat modeling, and risk identification.
• Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, RTUs, HMI, DCS, Windows, Active Directory, LDAP, and UNIX/Linux systems.
• Bachelor of Science or higher in engineering or another technical discipline, with strong presentation, communication, architecture, and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with utility, oil and gas, renewable energy, transportation, manufacturing, or other industrial operations.
• GICSP, CISSP, or SANS certification.
• Experience with enterprise, security management, systems management, identity management, or policy management solutions.
