Senior Solutions Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: United Kingdom — fully remote, field-based. The role requires 50%+ travel across the EMEA region. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom without visa sponsorship.

What you will do

• Own the full pre-sales technical motion for enterprise opportunities across EMEA, partnering with Account Executives from the first call through signed agreement.
• Design and personally execute structured, outcome-driven proofs of value, including API connections, firewall rules, and live data-feed troubleshooting.
• Lead technical discovery into customer environments, threat models, vulnerability management practices, and existing security stacks.
• Present and demonstrate the platform to security architects, SOC leaders, CISOs, and executive audiences, connecting capabilities to business outcomes.
• Build trusted relationships with Global 2000 and Fortune 500 security teams and represent hirify.global at industry events and customer briefings.
• Bring customer and market intelligence to Product and Engineering while helping shape the developing Solutions Engineering function.

Requirements

• 7+ years of enterprise security experience in solutions engineering, systems engineering, or pre-sales.
• Broad knowledge of vulnerability management, cloud and CNAPP, EDR, SIEM, and CMDB/ITSM platforms, including tools such as Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, Wiz, Prisma Cloud, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, and ServiceNow.
• Hands-on AppSec experience with SCA/SAST tooling, CI/CD pipeline integration, vulnerability reachability, and exploitability.
• Ability to explain and defend AI-native, agentic architecture, model-neutral design, autonomous remediation trust models, and read-only controls.
• Proven experience running structured POVs and selling to Global 2000 or Fortune 500 accounts with 10,000+ employees.
• Deep EMEA market experience, established regional relationships, startup experience, security platform experience, and willingness to travel 50%+.

Nice to have

• Background in detection and response, vulnerability management, exposure management, application security, security operations, or asset intelligence.
• Experience with MEDDICC, MEDDPICC, Force Management, Challenger, or another formal enterprise sales methodology.
• Experience pitching through channel or reseller partners.
• Experience building or refining a POV framework or Solutions Engineering playbook.
