Senior HR Technology & Operations Analyst (Workday)

Location: Structured hybrid role with a minimum of three days per week in the office. Candidates must be able to work in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Birmingham, or Tampa, United States.

Salary: $97,100–$145,500 per year.

What you will do

• Own Workday as a subject matter expert across Core HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Recruiting, Benefits, and Talent.
• Configure, test, and deploy system enhancements while maintaining business processes, security roles, and data governance.
• Analyze HR processes, identify root causes, and implement automation and efficiency improvements for employee and manager self-service.
• Build advanced reports and dashboards that support workforce planning, compliance, and business decisions.
• Manage and enhance Workday integrations using EIB, APIs, Workday Studio, and PECI.
• Lead or support HR technology upgrades and transformation initiatives in partnership with HR, Finance, Payroll, IT, and Legal.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Workday experience.
• Experience with Workday configuration, reporting, process optimization, and at least one Workday module.
• Advanced reporting skills, including calculated fields and dashboards.
• Experience with EIB, Workday Studio, APIs, and PECI integrations.
• Strong understanding of HR operations, data integrity, ownership, independent work, prioritization, collaboration, and communication.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship and must meet the approved location requirement.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience with Workday implementations, upgrades, or M&A integrations.
• Familiarity with Agile or structured project delivery approaches.
