Senior Manager People Operations

Location: New York, NY, United States

Salary: $140,000–$175,000 USD base salary per year, plus bonus potential and equity.

What you will do

• Own the people data strategy, HRIS, data integrity, structure, security, and reporting cadence.
• Build actionable people analytics dashboards and recurring reports for People leaders and business stakeholders.
• Design and operate an internal People service delivery model with ticketing, SLAs, and self-service resources.
• Own the HR technology roadmap, including tool evaluation, HRIS, payroll, benefits, ATS integrations, and vendor relationships.
• Lead compliance and audit readiness for I-9s, EEO-1 reporting, recordkeeping, and related people processes.
• Connect People operations with Finance, Legal, and IT while identifying automation and AI opportunities.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of progressive HR operations experience.
• Meaningful ownership of an HRIS and people data function, preferably in a high-growth technology or startup environment.
• Experience building or significantly re-architecting people systems and processes.
• Strong people analytics skills, including dashboard creation and data-driven decision support.
• Experience designing internal service delivery models with ticketing, SLAs, and knowledge bases.
• High discretion and trust when handling sensitive employee data, with comfort working in ambiguous build-from-scratch environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in the creator economy, marketplaces, or consumer technology.
• Prior people management experience.
• Experience implementing or migrating an HRIS.
• Background in HR compliance and audits, including I-9, EEO-1, or SOC 2-adjacent controls.
