Company

hirify.global develops energy-efficient AI compute systems for inference, combining compute architectures with a full-stack platform spanning silicon, firmware, drivers, compilers, runtimes, and AI model enablement.

What you will do

  • Manage end-to-end embedded software programs covering device drivers, firmware, bootloaders, and board support packages for AI accelerators.
  • Build integrated schedules aligned with chip tape-out, silicon bring-up, board bring-up, and customer or OEM delivery milestones.
  • Coordinate firmware, driver, hardware, ASIC, platform, compiler, runtime, and validation teams.
  • Drive silicon bring-up and platform enablement, including boot flows, device initialization, memory management, command submission, interrupts, and power management.
  • Identify and resolve cross-team risks involving silicon errata, toolchains, operating systems, and driver compatibility.
  • Establish planning, milestone reviews, retrospectives, reporting, and program management processes across distributed teams and external partners.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of technical program or project management experience, including substantial work with embedded software, drivers, firmware, or low-level systems software.
  • Experience coordinating software programs tightly coupled to hardware, including silicon or board bring-up and hardware validation.
  • Background in Linux kernel driver development processes, JTAG or lab-based debugging, and FPGA simulation or emulation environments such as Zebu, Veloce, or Palladium.
  • Strong understanding of embedded firmware, device drivers, SoC or accelerator architecture, memory and DMA, interrupts, command queues, boot and initialization, and hardware-software interfaces.
  • Experience managing complex multi-team schedules with tape-out dates, partner deliverables, and customer commitments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to work across engineering detail and executive-level summaries.

Nice to have

  • Experience with AI accelerators, GPUs, NPUs, DSPs, or other heterogeneous compute architectures.
  • Experience with custom accelerator or SoC firmware and early hardware-software co-development.
  • Experience working across firmware, driver, compiler, and runtime teams.
  • Experience with embedded Linux, RTOS, simulation or emulation environments, and external engineering partners or vendors.

Culture & Benefits

  • Remote work from the United States.
  • Work across geographically distributed engineering teams and external partners.
  • Equal employment opportunity employment in the United States.
