Hardware Program Manager

Location: San Francisco, hybrid. Global travel to Taiwan is required for collaboration with manufacturing and design teams.

Salary: $145,000–$250,000 base salary per year, plus eligibility for hirify.global’s equity plan.

What you will do

• Drive hardware programs from concept and EVT prototypes through DVT, PVT, and mass-production launch.
• Coordinate system architecture, requirements, schedules, and build execution with JDM partners.
• Lead program reviews, identify risks and blockers, and drive timely decisions and tradeoffs.
• Align mechanical, firmware, supply chain, operations, and manufacturing teams.
• Support design reviews, validation plans, component decisions, schematic reviews, and factory-floor build debugging.
• Coordinate manufacturing readiness, deployment planning, and production scaling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Ability to read schematics, understand PCB layout fundamentals, and participate in system architecture discussions.
• Solid understanding of hardware design, bring-up, validation, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong organization and attention to detail across multiple workstreams, risks, and dependencies.
• Experience or comfort working with JDM partners, suppliers, and vendors.
• Clear communication, ownership, proactive follow-through, and effective cross-functional collaboration.
