China Innovation Center Leader

What you will do

• Define and execute a unified China innovation strategy aligned with global priorities.
• Design and implement an operating model integrating workflows, software, automation, and frontier technology scouting.
• Lead and scale a multidisciplinary team of approximately 16 software, automation, AI, technology scouting, and customer engagement specialists.
• Drive customer engagement, rapid prototyping, iteration, deployment, adoption, and commercialization of localized solutions.
• Build partnerships with startups, academia, technology partners, and internal CTO and frontier teams.
• Identify China-developed technologies, talent, and business models that can be productized and scaled globally.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 8–12+ years of experience in innovation, R&D, or technology leadership roles.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering customer-centric solutions in complex global environments.
• Knowledge of the China market, customer landscape, innovation ecosystem, and analytical instrumentation.
• Familiarity with workflow solutions, software development, automation, AI technologies, and China-specific AI governance, data privacy, export controls, and intellectual property regulations.
• Ability to connect local commercial needs with global R&D, product, and CTO functions.
