Senior Performance Engineer

What you will do

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define performance testing objectives and requirements.
• Design, develop, and execute load, stress, and scalability tests using Gatling and Scala-based scripting.
• Analyze application behavior, identify performance bottlenecks, and recommend improvements.
• Monitor application performance using Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, and Dynatrace.
• Optimize database performance by identifying slow MySQL queries and improving response times.
• Conduct REST API performance testing and contribute to CI/CD and test automation initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience in performance testing and analysis within complex application environments.
• Understanding of application architecture and performance-related requirements.
• Familiarity with Gatling or similar performance engineering tools and scripting.
• Knowledge of API testing methods and tools such as Postman or Swagger.
• Experience with SQL databases, MySQL performance monitoring, APM tools, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.
