QA Lead

What you will do

• Define and implement QA strategy, standards, methodologies, and test plans aligned with business and software development goals.
• Lead and mentor QA analysts and automation engineers while collaborating with engineering, DevOps, and product management.
• Oversee manual and automated functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
• Drive automation using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, and Appium, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage defects, test coverage, QA metrics, reporting, and test case management through tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla, TestRail, and Zephyr.
• Lead performance, penetration, vulnerability, compliance, and shift-left testing initiatives across Agile development cycles.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience leading QA teams in Agile environments.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, DevOps, manual testing, and automated testing.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, API testing tools, performance testing tools, SQL, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Familiarity with code editors such as Cursor.

Nice to have

• ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent certification.
• Experience identifying opportunities for AI-driven testing.
