Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (QA Automation)

What you will do

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and design specifications.
• Develop comprehensive test strategies, detailed test plans, and functional and integration test cases.
• Execute tests, publish reports, and track quality metrics including defect density, test coverage, and open defects.
• Design and develop robust test automation approaches, scripts, mocks, and stubs for isolated component and integration testing.
• Own testing activities and configuration management while ensuring requirements are testable and understood.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related engineering discipline.
• 7+ years of Quality Engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills in Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript, with a focus on test automation.
• Experience testing APIs, microservices, native mobile applications, and web applications.
• Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL databases, pub-sub technologies, Linux/Unix, cloud infrastructure, GCP, and Docker.
• Experience with non-functional testing, CI/CD pipelines, Agile/Scrum, troubleshooting, debugging, and cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Jira, test case management tools, Postman, Playwright, Selenium, RestAssured, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Harness.
