Master Planner (Semiconductor Supply Chain)

Location: Penang, Malaysia; moderate domestic and international travel required, with travel expected 0%–25%.

What you will do

• Establish and implement business planning goals for advanced planning and scheduling of factories and subcontractors using backlog, inventory, and sales and operations forecasts.
• Manage the available-to-promise process for backlog scheduling, targeting 95% delivery performance to first commit and 85% to CRD.
• Coordinate current-quarter and next-quarter revenue status with Business Units using reporting tools and ERP planning and shipping systems.
• Manage master schedule capacity issues and allocation across factories or technologies.
• Build and enhance relationships with factories, Business Units, Sales, Finance, and Management.
• Design and improve supply chain planning processes, evaluation and control systems, reporting mechanisms, and a high-performance work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in a business major.
• At least 5 years of professional experience.
• Proven profit-and-loss business skills, including the ability to devise and execute strategies for backlog and revenue management.
• Ability to build collaborative teams and foster trust, open communication, loyalty, commitment, respect, and regard for people.
• Strategic thinking, relationship building across lines of business, motivation, and ability to implement the company vision.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity, demonstrate creativity and innovation, work across diverse cultures, and maintain an international perspective.
• Exceptional communication skills, strategic agility, customer and shareholder focus, results orientation, competitive spirit, and passion for the business.

Nice to have

• Knowledge and experience in high-tech supply chains.
• 5–10 years of experience in planning within the semiconductor industry or a relevant field.
• MBA or related master’s degree.
