Strategic Sourcing Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Singapore, Malaysia or Taiwan; work location includes the Singapore office and a secondary location in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia.

What you will do

• Develop and optimize global commodity strategies and 3–5-year sourcing roadmaps.
• Lead supplier selection, RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, negotiations, and long-term agreement contracting.
• Drive supplier segmentation, quarterly business reviews, and corrective action plans.
• Deliver cost savings, cost avoidance, and productivity targets while mitigating capacity, supply continuity, and compliance risks.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and R&D on supplier-enabled innovation and design-to-cost initiatives.
• Develop and update critical-material market intelligence reports using AI tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supplier management.
• Experience with supplier negotiations and global sourcing strategies.
• Strategic sourcing and category management expertise.
• Advanced negotiation and contracting skills.
• Market intelligence, cost modeling, analytics, and project management experience, including regular RFQ and competitive bidding.
• Executive-level supplier relationship management, cross-functional leadership, influencing skills, and strong financial acumen.

Nice to have

• MBA or an advanced degree.
• CPSM, CIPS, or equivalent certification.
• Global, multi-site procurement experience.
