Gov Product Manager

Location: US Remote; U.S. citizenship and the ability to verify U.S. employment eligibility using Form I-9 are required. Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance and Common Access Card is required. Travel may be required.

Salary: $127,000–$203,000 annually, plus eligibility for a variable compensation plan.

What you will do

• Translate customer and stakeholder business vision into actionable project objectives and technical requirements.
• Gather and document requirements from multiple stakeholders and conceptualize end-to-end solutions.
• Analyze current systems and processes and assess the impact of proposed changes.
• Collaborate with business owners, sales, QA, software developers, project teams, and other business systems analysts.
• Coordinate user stories and related documentation, and assist with developing and validating test plans.
• Present product solutions and provide training to existing and prospective customers.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and U.S. employment eligibility verified through Form I-9.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance and Common Access Card.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technology field; equivalent experience may substitute.
• 10+ years of experience in a software organization, preferably in software development.
• Experience with product requirements, user stories, data analysis, user interface design, market research, and ROI analysis.
• Leadership experience, strong communication and presentation skills, analytical problem-solving ability, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Visio.

Nice to have

• Experience with Department of Defense projects.
• Knowledge of environmental or logistics processes.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or Extreme project development methodologies.
• Experience with large-scale data-driven applications and tools specific to the assigned product line.
