Manager of Product Management

Location: Remote within the United States; must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance

Salary: $160,000–$170,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead product strategy and delivery for Veterans Affairs programs.
• Set product direction, translate organizational and user needs into priorities, and align scope, schedule, cost, and delivery expectations.
• Manage client relationships and facilitate consensus among government stakeholders, program leadership, and cross-functional teams.
• Monitor delivery progress, identify dependencies and risks, and execute mitigation plans.
• Coach, mentor, and develop product team members while managing performance, onboarding, PTO, and other people operations.
• Support hiring, proposals, technical demonstrations, strategic planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant professional experience; additional relevant experience may substitute for education.
• 3+ years leading or directing work across cross-functional teams and 2+ years mentoring, coaching, or developing team members.
• Experience leading product strategy, product delivery, or product management within complex programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and lead complex initiatives independently.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs programs, products, or digital services.
• Experience managing senior stakeholders, government clients, product teams, or federal programs.
• Government contracting experience and familiarity with applicable requirements and regulations.
• CSPO, CPM, CSM, or another relevant product or Agile certification.
• Experience contributing to proposals, bids, technical demonstrations, or growth activities.
