Staff Software Development Engineer in Test (AI)

Base pay: $208,200–$260,300 USD per year; bonus eligibility may apply.

What you will do

• Lead quality engineering strategy across console, mobile, portal, hardware, and service ecosystems.
• Design and scale automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, telemetry, hardware, portal, and end-to-end testing.
• Define enterprise automation standards, CI/CD quality gates, testing strategies, and release validation systems.
• Lead initiatives for automation stability, flakiness reduction, infrastructure modernization, device-lab orchestration, and observability.
• Drive AI-assisted testing R&D, including test generation, failure analysis, coverage improvement, and manual-effort reduction.
• Mentor SDETs and QEs, lead root-cause investigations, and establish quality metrics and engineering standards across teams.

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in SDET, automation engineering, or quality engineering roles.
• Experience leading large-scale mobile quality engineering initiatives across multiple teams or product areas.
• Strong programming or scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Expertise with Playwright, Pytest, Appium, Selenium, Git, Jenkins, Docker, cloud/device labs, and hardware/device validation workflows.
• Experience with AI-assisted testing, CI/CD architecture, release quality planning, risk management, troubleshooting, mentoring, and cross-functional technical leadership.
