IT Systems Adiminstrator

Location: Broomfield, Colorado, United States; onsite at the Broomfield facility. U.S. citizenship is required, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is required.

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 base salary per year.

What you will do

• Administer Microsoft Azure GCC High infrastructure, including virtual machines, networking, storage, identity services, and configurations.
• Manage Linux servers, SQL databases, and high-performance computing environments supporting engineering and manufacturing workloads.
• Monitor performance, apply patches, harden systems, remediate vulnerabilities, and maintain security controls.
• Provide tier 2 and tier 3 support, troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, configuration changes, and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, IT, Engineering, and Operations while maintaining technical documentation and compliance evidence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent education, certifications, and experience may be considered.
• At least 2 years of systems administration, cloud administration, or infrastructure experience, or equivalent work experience.
• Working knowledge of Azure administration, Linux operating systems, SQL databases, and HPC concepts with job scheduling.
• Knowledge of system hardening, vulnerability management, access controls, patch management, and compliance frameworks including ITAR, DFARS, NIST 800-171, and CMMC.
• Experience with scripting or automation tools such as PowerShell, Ansible, or Terraform, plus strong documentation and communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Azure certifications or Azure GCC High and government cloud experience.
• Experience with DoD-compliant cloud environments, HPC clusters, simulation workloads, or cleared environments.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, MES, ERP, PLM, or Controlled Unclassified Information environments.
• Experience supporting aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing organizations.
