Automation Engineer (Power Automate)

Location: Must be commutable to the New Kensington, Pennsylvania plant; hybrid work week with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote

Salary: $81,000–$120,000 per year, plus potential annual incentive and/or long-term incentives

What you will do

• Design and deliver automation and workflow solutions using Power Automate, RPA, integration platforms, Microsoft 365 tools, dashboards, and AI/ML capabilities.
• Analyze business requirements and architect reliable, secure, maintainable solutions across operations, engineering, and corporate functions.
• Configure, script, and develop automations, dashboards, reports, visualizations, and collaboration tools that support decision-making.
• Perform unit, integration, system, and user acceptance testing; prepare deployment packages for Dev, Test, and Production environments.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and data integrity checks, while providing Tier 3 support and troubleshooting for automation and integration workflows.
• Document solutions, train end users, identify continuous improvement opportunities, and automate repetitive IT tasks with PowerShell and Python.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology or a related field.
• Five or more years of experience as an automation or integration engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate, including workflow automation and preferably RPA.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, SQL Server or cloud-native databases, SQL, PowerShell, and Python.
• Experience with system and application integration frameworks and full-lifecycle delivery from requirements through support.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, production deployments, UI/UX standards, cybersecurity methodologies, and AI/ML tools for automation or decision-making.

Nice to have

• Networking concepts, operating systems, server infrastructure, or cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
• UiPath or other RPA tools, BPMN process modeling, ITIL processes, ERP or core business systems.
• Manufacturing environments or Lean principles.
