IT / OT Infrastructure Manager

Location: Rochester, NY; hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. Candidates must be local to the Rochester area or willing to relocate.

Salary: $104,000–$154,000 per year, plus potential annual incentive and/or long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop the Infrastructure team, including staffing, scheduling, performance management, and professional development.
• Oversee infrastructure operations, service delivery, SLA performance, escalations, and critical incident management.
• Design, review, approve, build, test, and support enterprise infrastructure architectures.
• Maintain infrastructure standards, documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge base content.
• Define infrastructure metrics and drive continuous improvement across people, processes, and systems.
• Support IT planning, budgeting, forecasting, vendor management, security, compliance, and end-user satisfaction initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience designing, building, supporting, and troubleshooting enterprise infrastructure.
• 5+ years of experience leading and managing infrastructure teams.
• Expertise with server hardware, Microsoft Server, VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, storage, backup, and recovery.
• Experience with endpoint management, Microsoft 365, networking, Fortinet platforms, data center operations, monitoring, patching, and asset lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, CMMC, GCC High, AWS GovCloud, FedRAMP, ITIL, CAD systems, documentation, and AI tools for IT operations.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Experience in manufacturing environments and OT networking.
• Current IT industry certifications.
• Experience with automated remediation for monitoring and alerting.
