Production Control Planner (Manufacturing)

hirify.global is building a localized battery supply chain through battery recovery, reuse, recycling, energy storage, and U.S. battery-materials production.

What you will do

• Maintain inbound material supply continuity by tracking materials against production needs, resolving receiving issues, and coordinating NCR dispositions and WMS quality holds.
• Track purchase-order pacing, shipment details, labeling, packing-list verification, and advance logistics notifications.
• Support the monthly MRP cycle in Oracle, validate planning outputs, communicate firm vendor commitments, and quantify supply risks to the build plan.
• Execute NPI change management by reconciling BOM revisions between ERP and PLM and scheduling production-line trials.
• Publish the daily production plan and shift handoff with current inventory, open holds, and material risks.
• Validate inventory through cycle counts, investigate receipt and invoice discrepancies, and coordinate with accounting.

Requirements

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations management, or a related field; equivalent manufacturing experience may be considered.
• 0–5 years of experience in supply chain, production planning, receiving, or manufacturing operations.
• Direct WMS experience and working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems are required.
• Ability to analyze operational data, assess build risk, identify material shortfalls, and support planning decisions across multi-component BOMs.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to maintain production reporting tools.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple urgent priorities across engineering, quality, logistics, and suppliers.

Nice to have

• Experience in energy storage, power electronics, or electronics manufacturing.
