Information Security Engineer Intern (AI)

Location: McLean, Virginia; interns must work in the office 5 days per week

Salary: $50.00 per hour ($8,666 per month)

What you will do

• Monitor security controls, industry regulations, and cyber compliance standards.
• Design and implement automated processes for internal and external security reviews and control evaluations.
• Assess security risks, emerging vulnerabilities, and technical requirements across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS environments.
• Collaborate with technical teams to translate complex security concepts into actionable strategies.
• Evaluate risk profiles and support the global information security program.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
• Must return to school after completing the Summer 2027 internship to continue degree requirements.
• Available for a full-time, 40-hour-per-week schedule throughout the 10-week summer program.
• Proven fluency in AI and LLMs, including strategic AI-powered platform development and practical use of AI tools.
• Must work onsite at the McLean headquarters 5 days per week.
