Software Product Security Engineer Intern (AI)

Location: Spring, Texas, United States of America. Full-time, onsite role. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States in 2027 and must not require future work authorization sponsorship.

Salary: $35–$40 per hour for US candidates.

What you will do

• Develop and test software components for endpoint platform security solutions.
• Support AI and machine learning initiatives running on endpoint devices.
• Build prototypes and proof-of-concept applications.
• Analyze technical requirements and translate them into software solutions.
• Assist with debugging, testing, documentation, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with software engineering, security, and product teams, and present findings to technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
• Must be enrolled full time at an accredited university.
• Must have no more than 24 months of professionally related prior work experience, excluding internships, teaching assistance, research work, and military experience.
• Programming experience with Python and at least one of C++, C#, or TypeScript.
• Understanding of software engineering principles, algorithms, data structures, debugging, testing, and version-control practices.
• Must be able to obtain US work authorization in 2027 without requiring future sponsorship; hirify.global does not provide immigration sponsorship or CPT/OPT support.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI and machine learning tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of endpoint, platform, or application security concepts.
• Familiarity with edge AI, on-device machine learning, operating systems, and computer architecture.
• Experience developing prototypes or user-facing applications.
