Senior AI/LLM Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within the United States or Canada

Salary: $179,000–$201,000 USD in San Francisco Bay, New York City, and Seattle; $148,000–$192,000 USD in other locations, plus bonus eligibility and equity.

What you will do

• Prototype and deploy AI-powered features for search, recommendations, and workflow automation across the hirify.global Platform.
• Apply machine learning to streamline investigations, personalize experiences, and surface critical insights.
• Develop and fine-tune LLMs and RAG pipelines that reason over Internet-scale data and summarize findings.
• Build, scale, and maintain AI-driven analytics and automation systems for faster, data-backed decisions.
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and data engineering teams to integrate secure AI-native platform experiences.
• Evaluate and improve model performance using RAGAS, LangSmith, and automated regression testing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years building and scaling AI-powered user-facing features.
• Strong Python skills for backend and API services development.
• Experience with RAG evaluation frameworks, LLM pipeline regression testing, prompt engineering, and AI feature experimentation.
• Understanding of secure and responsible AI practices, including guardrails and safety checks.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and deployment practices for AI applications.
• Strong cross-team collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Advanced knowledge of AI/ML architectures, model evaluation, and applied deep learning.
• Experience with retrieval-augmented generation, vector search, LLM fine-tuning, embedding models, and AI-driven analytics.
• Experience optimizing AI models for low-latency, real-time browser or frontend interactions.
• Experience deploying secure AI systems in cybersecurity or other sensitive-data domains.
