Head of Agentic AI Platform Engineering

What you will do

• Own the Fabric agent plane, including agent runtimes, orchestration, model gateway, and independently testable agent skills.
• Build and drive adoption of the MCP and A2A integration spine across the platform.
• Develop reference patterns, shared evaluation harnesses, sandbox workflows, and promotion gates in partnership with Trust, Risk & Evaluation.
• Implement agent identity, user identity, entitlements, data-product boundary checks, lineage, and audit trails with IT and Security.
• Lead AI Harness Engineers deployed into pods and oversee enterprise architecture strategy across applications, cloud, data, infrastructure, and security.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, guide technical decisions, and ensure scalable, cost-effective architectures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent, with broad knowledge of the relevant functional areas.
• At least 10 years of formal or informal leadership experience across people, projects, and/or programs.
• Hands-on experience building production agent systems or LLM orchestration infrastructure at enterprise scale.
• Deep familiarity with MCP, A2A, and the emerging interoperability landscape.
• Experience integrating enterprise identity providers and entitlement systems, with strong security practices.
• Experience designing for regulated environments, ideally including computerized system validation or Part 11 contexts.
