AI Governance Lead (AI/Azure): Governing the skills, plugins, connectors, and applications created across the company with an accent on reusable standards, enablement, security, and platform operations. Focus on defining release criteria, deploying containerised applications on Azure, managing identity and access, and building a self-sufficient internal builder community.

What you will do
- Work with departments to understand processes, identify automation opportunities, and consolidate duplicated solutions into shared assets.
- Build and run onboarding, training, workshops, office hours, and a community of practice for internal AI builders.
- Own the catalogue, authoring standards, release reviews, distribution, usage measurement, and retirement of skills, plugins, connectors, and applications.
- Define application blueprints covering telemetry, logging, security, authentication, and data handling, supported by guardrails and starter repositories.
- Deploy and operate containerised applications on Azure, including networking, secrets, scaling, monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
- Govern repositories, access, CI/CD, security scanning, database permissions, and technical collaboration with IT, InfoSec, Legal, and Privacy.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field; equivalent professional experience is considered.
- 7+ years of professional experience, including at least 5 years building and running production software or platforms.
- Practical Azure experience with container workloads, managed databases, identity, secrets, and cost management.
- Working knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SSO with Entra ID, including authentication and permission troubleshooting.
- Experience with source control governance, permissions, branch protection, secret scanning, dependency policies, CI/CD, SQL, and third-party API integration.
- Ability to establish standards without formal authority, coach non-engineers, communicate technical constraints clearly, and work effectively across Security, Legal, Finance, and other functions.
