Mobile Maintenance Technician (HVAC)

What you will do

• Assist with preventive maintenance and repairs for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Maintain pumps, chillers, boilers, air compressors, air handling units, fixtures, appliances, and other building components.
• Apply basic HVAC distribution and controls knowledge to resolve work orders.
• Participate in property water-treatment programs and maintain central plant, chemical consumption, and equipment inspection logs.
• Support fire alarm and life safety system operations and provide concierge-style service to internal and external partners.
• Work safely, follow property procedures, and participate in required training and seminars.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in commercial building operations, property management, or a related industry preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, hydraulic systems, power tools, and basic computer programs.
• High school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma preferred.
• EPA Universal Certification required within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to read equipment instructions, perform basic calculations, communicate effectively, use personal safety equipment, lift 50 pounds or more, and access stairs, ladders, roofs, and confined spaces.
• Must meet assigned-property shift requirements, which may include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
