Maintenance Technician II (Nights) (HVAC/Facilities)

Location: Blue Ash, Ohio, United States; onsite night shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule with 12-hour shifts

Salary: $21.50–$32.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform autonomous preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on facility equipment, systems, and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot equipment and monitor performance using infrared, vibration, pressure, superheat, and subcooling readings.
• Maintain building systems including fire systems, plumbing, lighting, HVAC equipment, boilers, chillers, air handlers, humidifiers, and air dryers.
• Monitor building management alarms, perform daily facility equipment checks, and respond to work requests in priority order.
• Document maintenance activities in the CMMS and report process deviations in accordance with applicable procedures.
• Read technical documentation, diagrams, drawings, and schematics while following cGMP, safety, lockout/tagout, PPE, spill control, and hazardous-material procedures.

Requirements

• Experience maintaining facility systems, including fire systems, plumbing, lighting, HVAC, boilers, chillers, air handlers, humidifiers, and air dryers.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience with facility equipment and systems, including low-voltage electrical systems and emergency diesel generators.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite night shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule with 12-hour shifts.
• Visa or other work-authorization sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or equivalent with skilled-trade certification, such as electrical or boiler operations.
• Associate’s degree in a technical discipline.
• Relevant skilled-trades training or certificates.
• Prior experience using a CMMS.
