Maintenance Technician (Medical Technology)

Location: Vista, California, United States; minimal travel may be required to the Carlsbad headquarters office. Applicants must already have full-time work authorization in the United States.

What you will do

• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and other facility systems.
• Monitor critical utilities, including cleanrooms, purified water systems, and temperature-controlled environments.
• Support production equipment setup, changeovers, repairs, and improvements to minimize downtime.
• Complete work orders, maintenance logs, calibration and validation support, and other required documentation.
• Support audits, inspections, GMP, FDA, ISO, safety, and standard operating procedure compliance.
• Coordinate external vendors and contractors, identify hazards, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or an associate degree is preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Must have full-time US work authorization now and in the future without visa sponsorship.
