Facilities Maintenance Technician III (Days) (Biomanufacturing)

Location: USA - OH - Blue Ash; onsite role on a 2-2-3 schedule with 12-hour shifts

Salary: $24.00–$38.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform autonomous preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on facility equipment, systems, and building infrastructure.
• Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC, boilers, chillers, air handlers, humidifiers, air dryers, plumbing, lighting, fire systems, and related equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance, building management alarms, and facility conditions; perform daily equipment checks and technical readings.
• Use the CMMS and Work Request System to document maintenance activities, prioritize work orders, and pull required parts.
• Read SOPs, technical documentation, diagrams, drawings, and schematics while reporting deviations and maintaining compliance.
• Participate in spill control, hazardous-material handling, first aid, PPE use, and lockout/tagout procedures.

Requirements

• Experience maintaining facility systems such as fire systems, plumbing, lighting, HVAC, boilers, chillers, air handlers, humidifiers, and air dryers.
• Water purification knowledge and automated material-handling experience.
• Industrial maintenance, electrical/electronics, and infrared, vibration, or ultrasound certifications.
• Universal Section 608 HVAC license and an electrical, HVAC/refrigeration, pipe-fitting, or fire-alarm journeyman license.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Work authorization or visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or equivalent plus skilled-trade certification.
• Associate’s degree in a technical discipline.
• At least two years of experience with facility systems, low-voltage electrical systems, or emergency diesel generators.
• Prior CMMS experience and relevant skilled-trades training or certificates.
