Senior Program Manager (Fintech)

Location: Office - New York

Salary: $120,000–$168,000 in NYC and $100,000–$140,000 in Chicago per year.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end program management for cross-functional initiatives across product, engineering, OEMS, PMS, UI/UX, and related teams.
• Build project charters, program roadmaps, risk registries, milestone tracking, and leadership reporting.
• Coordinate prioritization and execution with product managers and engineering senior development managers.
• Identify risks and blockers, drive resolution, and maintain delivery momentum.
• Partner with the TPM team to improve program management processes and frameworks.
• Translate business goals into executable plans with clear milestones and accountability.

Requirements

• 9 years of technical program management experience, ideally in fintech, SaaS, or capital markets.
• Experience building charters and driving ambiguous programs through delivery with minimal direction.
• Proficiency with roadmaps, Gantt charts, risk registries, milestone tracking, Jira, and Confluence or equivalent tools.
• Strong command of Scrum and Kanban, with familiarity with waterfall delivery and the SDLC.
• Working knowledge of infrastructure, architecture, system design, APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills and the ability to explain technical complexity to executive audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience in capital markets, fintech, front office, order management, portfolio management, or trading systems.
• Experience scaling a TPM function or establishing program management practices.
• Familiarity with DevOps, program-level budgeting, resource management, and OKR/KPI frameworks.
• Technical development, platform, or systems background; PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification.
