Technical Product & Program Manager (Fintech)

Location: New York, NY; on-site, with employees expected in the office five days a week

Salary: $150,000–$240,000 base salary per year, plus potential equity and bonus.

What you will do

• Define product requirements, write specifications, and prioritize features and bugs with engineering and design.
• Lead planning and execution across product and engineering initiatives, including timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and stakeholder communication.
• Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies.
• Maintain actionable, documented, and correctly sized tickets and tasks.
• Monitor project health, identify risks, and build dashboards for progress, velocity, and product outcomes.
• Measure launched features and work with design, development, and QA to improve delivery based on data, feedback, and business goals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product management, technical program management, or a related technology role.
• Experience owning product definition and execution, including requirements, roadmaps, sprint management, and cross-team coordination.
• Experience in fintech, payments, or financial services, with an understanding of payment infrastructure, compliance constraints, and customer trust.
• Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Technical familiarity with APIs, mobile app development, data pipelines, and DevOps concepts.
• Experience shipping iOS and/or Android products, using product or project tools such as Jira, Asana, or Linear, and building metrics dashboards.

Nice to have

• Experience in a high-growth startup, preferably at the pre-IPO or Series A–C stage.
• Background in e-commerce or consumer financial products.
• Familiarity with AI-powered features, personalization products, localization, internationalization, or international market launches.
• Engineering, computer science, or quantitative degree.
