Senior Global Supply Manager I - Machining

Location: Onsite at hirify.global's global headquarters in Long Beach, California, United States

Base pay: $95,000–$130,000 USD annually

hirify.global is an end-to-end space company building rockets, spacecraft, and critical subsystems for satellite and space missions.

What you will do

• Own sourcing and procurement strategy, cost, and schedule for major satellite subcomponents.
• Issue RFQs and RFPs, negotiate contract proposals, and manage supplier agreements through execution.
• Develop sourcing and subcontracting strategies while mitigating supply risks and ensuring on-cost, on-quality, and on-time delivery.
• Guide supplier selection and performance based on engineering requirements, specifications, and capabilities.
• Manage supplier relationships, scorecards, quarterly business reviews, disputes, and risk mitigation plans.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities and communicate supply, cost, and quality matters to stakeholders and leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of supply chain or commodity management experience and a bachelor's degree, or 9+ years of work experience.
• Strong negotiation experience with contractual vehicles such as Cost Plus and Firm Fixed Price agreements.
• Experience working with technical requirements for procured hardware and services, including contractual flow-downs, Statements of Work, and technical specification reviews.
• For US office roles, eligibility to work with US-regulated space technology under ITAR is required: US citizenship, lawful permanent residence, refugee or asylee status, or eligibility to obtain the required authorizations.
• Ability to work onsite in Long Beach and collaborate across functional teams.

Nice to have

• MBA or technical master's degree.
• Experience in aerospace, automotive manufacturing, or another highly technical field.
• Experience in a rapid-growth environment with shifting priorities.
• APICS certification.
• Current DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
