Associate, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Location: New York, New York, United States; office attendance required four days per week

Salary: $150,000–$160,000 per year

What you will do

• Own and improve forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for key business units.
• Analyze company performance, market dynamics, pricing, customer behavior, and operational drivers.
• Support board materials, investor updates, and inbound and outbound M&A evaluations.
• Partner with senior leaders across go-to-market, product, operations, and executive functions on strategic plans and business performance.
• Lead initiatives that improve internal processes, data integrity, efficiency, and value creation.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in investment banking, top-tier consulting, or a rigorous analytical FP&A environment.
• Strong analytical skills and financial acumen, including corporate finance, accounting, and SaaS business models.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to build financial models and communicate concise recommendations to executive audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems independently and turn raw data into models or frameworks that inform strategic decisions.
• Strong ownership, intellectual curiosity, communication skills, and bias toward action.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tableau, Looker, SQL, or other data visualization tools.
