TL;DR
Production Technician II (Robotics) (Mechatronics and robotics): Maintaining, diagnosing, repairing, assembling, and testing ANYmal robots and electromechanical components at the Zurich production site with an accent on customer fleet readiness, prototype support, and 0-Series production. Focus on troubleshooting complex electromechanical issues, commissioning complete robots, documenting non-conformances, and improving manufacturing and test procedures.

What you will do
- Maintain, diagnose, and repair customer robots and the internal robotic fleet.
- Troubleshoot electromechanical products and prototypes, identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Test and perform quality control on components and complete robots, including commissioning.
- Manufacture and assemble modules and robots for prototypes and 0-Series production.
- Document non-conformances and contribute to corrective and preventive actions.
- Improve manufacturing, assembly, testing procedures, technical equipment, and infrastructure.
Requirements
- Apprenticeship as a Polymechanic or Automation Technician EFZ.
- At least 3 years of experience in mechatronics or equipment manufacturing.
- Practical knowledge of assembling electromechanical components.
- Ability to read technical drawings and work instructions.
- Experience with measuring tools, testing equipment, and ESD standards.
- Very good German and English skills at B2 level, plus the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Nice to have
- Experience in production, repair, and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies.
- CH Category B driving license.
