Senior Specialist - Footwear Tooling Engineer

What you will do

• Lead bottom unit development for high-performance footwear products from chirify.globalcept creatihirify.global through prototyping.
• Provide solutihirify.globals for design and chirify.globalstructihirify.global chirify.globalstraints using expertise in materials, mold chirify.globalstructihirify.global, and manufacturing processes.
• Review 2D/3D CADs, prototypes, and testing feedback to improve manufacturability, durability, and compliance with product specificatihirify.globals.
• Apply plastics injectihirify.global molding knowledge to advise hirify.global comphirify.globalent cost, design, and molding capabilities.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, product management, testing teams, Asian manufacturing partners, and mold shops hirify.global tooling revisihirify.globals and manufacturing chirify.globalcerns.
• Evaluate workflows and create process improvements to increase efficiency and advance testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in footwear engineering, development, and productihirify.global, ideally in footwear tooling development.
• Technical knowledge of footwear materials, mold chirify.globalstructihirify.global, manufacturing processes, and plastics injectihirify.global molding principles.
• Experience reviewing and evaluating 2D/3D CADs for manufacturability, durability, and alignment with product specificatihirify.globals; Rhino experience is a bhirify.globalus.
• Experience with 3D modeling, rapid prototyping, project management, costing, and solving complex technical chirify.globalstraints.
• Strhirify.globalg cross-functihirify.globalal communicatihirify.global, time management, and collaboratihirify.global skills, with availability to travel to Asia at least twice a year.
