Maintenance Technician

Location: Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite production-floor work

Salary: $58,030–$85,107 per year, plus discretionary bonuses

What you will do

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, install, calibrate, and test production equipment such as pumps, valves, mixers, conveyors, and piping systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, including lubrication, filter changes, cleaning, bolt tightening, and basic part replacement.
• Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, equipment records, manuals, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Respond to urgent maintenance calls, support shutdown and turnaround activities, and collaborate with operators and supervisors to minimize downtime.
• Track spare-parts inventory and provide basic fabrication support for brackets, guards, and simple components.
• Participate in safety audits, identify recurring equipment issues, and suggest improvements to reliability, efficiency, and safety.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical environment.
• Technical school training in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or electrical systems.
• Intermediate understanding of mechanical systems, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, instrumentation, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read technical diagrams, manuals, schematics, work instructions, and safety documentation.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Ability to work on different shifts, around chemicals and industrial equipment, with prolonged standing, repetitive manual handling, lifting up to 50 pounds, and possible overtime.
