Maintenance Technician I (6th Shift)

Location: Onsite in Marion, North Carolina, United States. The role requires work in a plant and clean room environment with required PPE and controlled-environment gowning.

Salary: $52,800–$72,600 annually.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on IV solution, filling, and packaging manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose electrical issues using schematics, drawing packages, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, motor controls, variable-frequency drives, servos, robotics, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, sensors, and vision systems.
• Respond to equipment, process, and compliance issues, including unscheduled maintenance and trouble calls.
• Modify, upgrade, and install equipment while documenting work orders and maintenance activities in the CMMS.
• Support EHS compliance, manufacturing SOPs, cGMP requirements, and continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; technical school training preferred.
• 1–2 years of maintenance experience with automated manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with CMMS; Maximo is preferred.
• Knowledge of PLC systems, including Siemens, Allen Bradley, or Omron, plus electrical systems up to 480V three-phase, AC/DC motors, drives, relays, sensors, and servo motors.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical and building drawings, and part diagrams; familiarity with high-speed filling and packaging equipment.
• Fluent English and authorization to work for an employer in the United States are required. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with SCADA, EMS, BMS, Cognex, Keyence, or Maximo.
• Technical school training.
