Solutions Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Remote, based in Toronto, Ontario, and working on the EST timezone

What you will do

• Lead customer and partner technical onboarding, integration timelines, and go-live readiness for API-based implementations.
• Support Sales and Partnerships with technical discovery, solution design, product demonstrations, RFPs, questionnaires, and proofs of concept.
• Troubleshoot integration issues, reproduce problems, propose workarounds, and coordinate with Product and Engineering to remove blockers.
• Run workshops and training sessions for developers and operators using hirify.global's public APIs.
• Create reference architectures, integration playbooks, checklists, and internal enablement materials.
• Capture recurring customer feedback and translate it into product and documentation improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in solutions engineering, architecture, sales engineering, or technical consulting.
• Strong experience with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, OAuth or API keys, Postman, and cURL.
• Ability to use one programming language, such as TypeScript, Python, or Java, for prototypes and integration validation.
• Experience owning complex customer or partner integrations end to end and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills across technical demonstrations, solution design, and enablement.
• Fluent English and availability to work on the EST timezone are required.

Nice to have

• Fintech, payments, or card industry experience.
• ERP or accounting integration experience with platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, DATEV, Xero, or QuickBooks.
• Knowledge of other European languages.
