Principal Software Architect (AI-driven Development)

What you will do

• Act as a technical authority and trusted advisor across multiple cloud technology domains.
• Work directly with customers to build new features and modernize their technology estates in support of business growth.
• Guide and challenge clients, oversee project teams, and ensure technical outcomes meet business needs, budgets, timelines, and quality expectations.
• Contribute to presales, account management, project scoping, and statements of work with Account Executives, Engagement Managers, and Presales Architects.
• Drive adoption of Spec-Driven Development and AI-assisted engineering workflows.
• Manage approximately five Architects and Engineers through one-to-ones, feedback, goal setting, development discussions, and performance recommendations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience delivering professional services or product management for workloads on AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
• Deep expertise in both frontend and backend development, including modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, state management, modern CSS, API design, and server-side architecture.
• Proficiency in at least three programming languages, such as TypeScript, Python, Go, .NET, or Java.
• Experience with Spec-Driven Development, AI code generation, prompts as specifications, and management of AI-generated artifacts.
• Knowledge of microservices, event-driven architecture, cloud-native patterns, Kubernetes, Docker, and SQL and NoSQL database internals.
• Experience leading technical teams, communicating with stakeholders from CEOs to developers, and providing constructive feedback.
