Senior Solution Engineer (Data/SaaS)

What you will do

• Present Snowflake technology, vision, roadmap features, and functionality to executives and technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrate Snowflake’s value throughout the sales cycle, from discovery and demos through proofs of concept, design, and implementation.
• Translate platform capabilities into solutions for customer-specific business problems and create technical champions within customer accounts.
• Collaborate with account sales teams, channel and implementation partners, Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and other sales engineers.
• Develop joint architectures, account and territory plans, and strategies that support customer success and technical wins.
• Represent Snowflake at industry and customer events while maintaining knowledge of competitive and complementary technologies.

Requirements

• Senior solution engineering or solution architecture experience in a SaaS environment or a relevant field such as analytics, data science, or data engineering.
• Outstanding presentation and customer-facing communication skills for technical and executive audiences.
• Experience with data architecture, data analytics, and cloud technology.
• Hands-on experience with SQL.
• Ability to solve customer-specific business problems and apply Snowflake solutions.
• Experience supporting the Swiss market.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Python.
• Experience with modern data technologies such as dbt, Spark, containers, DevOps tooling, orchestration tools, and Git.
• Experience with AI, data science, and machine learning technologies.
