Technical Designer

Location: Los Angeles, CA; hybrid schedule with at least three days in the office per week, Tuesday through Thursday

Annual compensation: $67,000–$95,000

What you will do

• Manage 1–3 assigned product categories and support additional categories.
• Prepare samples, lead fittings, and provide fit comments for owned products.
• Manage category specification comparisons and fit buckets.
• Develop block patterns for assigned categories.
• Collaborate with Raw Materials, Quality Assurance, Product Development, Sourcing, and Sustainability teams.
• Maintain relationships with domestic and international product vendors.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in technical design.
• Strong understanding of pattern-making basics across several categories.
• Advanced understanding of garment construction.
• Advanced understanding of the garment development process from initial sketch to production.
• Confidence leading fittings with design, merchandising, product development, and other cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with 3D software such as Clo, Browzwear, or Optiex.
