Senior Design Manager (Interior Design)

Location: Hybrid, based in NYC, Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, or Miami; approximately 20% travel required for site visits and project launches.

Salary: $115,000–$125,000 per year, plus annual bonus and long-term incentive program.

What you will do

• Evaluate real estate opportunities and assess the design feasibility of converting existing spaces into premium coworking environments.
• Lead concept design packages, FF&E selections, and space planning strategies for second-generation workplaces.
• Manage external architects and engineers to produce high-quality, cost-effective design documentation.
• Partner with Real Estate, Construction, and Operations to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Apply circular design and sustainability principles to reuse existing materials, infrastructure, and building elements.
• Present rapid-turnaround concepts and investment proposals to leadership and the Investment Committee.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in interior design or architecture, with a strong portfolio in workplace, hospitality, retail, residential renovation, or flexible workspace environments.
• Deep understanding of construction processes, relative costs, constructability, and value engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit and Bluebeam.
• Ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects independently and make decisive design and feasibility decisions.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20% for site visits and project launches.

• Experience with circular design and sustainable reuse of existing materials and infrastructure.
• Experience working across real estate, construction, and operations on renovation projects.
